Art Charges:

The first 1/2 hour is FREE! Additional time is $35.00 (G) per hour.

Artwork Transmission:

E-mail vector art to artwork@aakronline.com. Also send a .pdf or .jpg copy of the artwork to artwork@aakronline.com. Please do not e-mail orders to this address. Contact customer service directly for any issues or changes to orders. Note: Our delivery schedule may change depending on the quality of the artwork submitted. Files over 20MB must be uploaded to a 3rd party ftp site; we recommend www.hightail.com. You must e-mail the link to the artwork to artwork@aakronline.com & INCLUDE the P.O.# in subject line.

Photographs:

Must be original or high resolution scans; do not screen or bitmap.

Vector Artwork Requirements:

Our Preferred Programs are Corel Draw (15 or earlier) & Adobe Illustrator (CS3 or earlier, saved as an EPS). Text must be converted to curves, outlines or paths to ensure the art will be usable regardless of type-styles. Do not send fonts. All files imported into Corel Draw and/or Adobe Illustrator must be included separately & meet our Raster Artwork Requirements. Do not send files with linked elements. Files compressed with WinZip or StuffIt ® are acceptable.

Raster Artwork Requirements:

Must be at least 600dpi. Logos off websites (72dpi) are not acceptable. Monochrome bitmapped files must be 1200 dpi at actual imprint size or larger; TIFF files are preferred. Grayscale, RGB & CMYK files may require additional charges.

Orders:

Please email orders to orders@aakronline.com and send vector artwork to artwork@aakronline.com. Please also send a .pdf or a .jpg copy of the artwork to both addresses. DO NOT e-mail orders to artwork@aakronline.com. State on P.O. that artwork is being sent via e-mail.

Spot Multi-Color Imprints:

Registration will vary 1/8" in any direction, making close registration impossible.

Camera-Ready Art Requirements:

Black & white art must be clean & crisp, printed at 1200dpi. Photocopies, faxes, business cards, letterhead, & art from the Internet is not camera-ready.

Acceptable media:

E-mail artwork files to artwork@aakronline.com, or save on a CDR, DVDR, or USB Drive & mail to us.

Unacceptable files:

• Word processing files (i.e. PowerPoint, Ventura Publishing, WordPerfect).
• QuarkXPress, Adobe PageMaker or other page layout files.
• 3.5” floppy discs.
• Adobe Acrobat PDF are not an acceptable vehicle for transfer.

Artwork & Full Color Digital printing:

Pantone® color matching is not available. Artwork must be CMYK. We will use CMYK to try to match as closely as possible.

Artwork & printing on Non-Woven items (Bags/Aprons/Flexi-Flyer):

Full Color Digital:Text & artwork/logos line thickness should be 3-point. If fonts & art elements are too thin to print well, a border or shape may need to be added to the artwork (this will be colored to match the item as closely as possible). For best printability, artwork should be one unified piece; stray art elements & freestanding text may result in a reworking of artwork. Drop shadows are not possible. If raster art is provided, all edges must be clean & crisp. If necessary, we will contact you to outline the available options for the best looking final product.

Silk-screen: Halftones are not recommended. The screen frequency must be 22 lpi or below, with a minimum line thickness of 1-point.
